Monday 9th January

Spelling: Practise spellings for test on Friday.

Tables: 9+ Monday

Maths: Write the number formed by the 10 blocks and the units (use skip counting in 10's to help you)

Phonics: 'y' at the end - 'y' makes the vowel sound 'ie' (as in cry) or the vowel sound 'ee' (as in cherry) when it comes at the end of a word

Sort the words into the correct box and choose 3 of the words to put into a sentence.

Tuesday 10th January

Spelling: Practise spellings for test on Friday.

Tables: Practise 9 + tables for test on Friday.
Tables Champion  - Week 9, Tuesday 9+ tables

Maths: Write the number formed by the 10 blocks and the units

Grammar: 

  • Alphabetical Order: Put the weather words in alphabetical order
  • Wordsearch: Find the 15 weather words. The words can be found horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, plus they can be forwards or backwards.

Comprehension: Read the story. Complete the questions/activities based on the story.

Tables: Practise 9 + tables for test on Tomorrow.

Maths: Write the number formed by the 10 blocks and the units. Write the number.

Spelling Sheet: Choose 5 of this week's spellings - write them, draw them and put them into a sentence.
